HGH Supplements. Useful Informations
What is HGH?
Most people have heard of HGH, but many still don’t know exactly what it is. The center of the human brain houses the pituitary gland, which produces most of the HGH (Human Growth Hormone). The pituitary gland secretes human growth hormone, whose function is to help in many different health functions of the human body.
It might seem curious that humans require additional HGH even though we make it ourselves. It is important to replace HGH, but why?
After about the first three decades of life, studies show the concentration and production of HGH decreases. Gradually, as we age, HGH keeps decreasing steadily. As a matter of fact, some experts contend that over the course of time, our HGH levels decline by as much as 80 percent or even more.
What difference does that make?
The reason is that a lot of researchers think that this reduction in our HGH levels is the cause of many health issues and diseases associated with aging today, including such things as weight gain, decreased energy, loss of muscle mass, wrinkling of the skin, lowering of mental alertness, weakened immune system, vision difficulties and other problems.
Some people consider such symptoms to get more pronounced over the years in relation to the decreasing amount of HGH produced by the body. When our HGH levels go down, we can feel more of the negative symptoms of aging. The belief is that to reverse the aging process, you must increase levels of growth hormone. Should this theory prove correct, than the key to regaining one’s youth is HGH.
So what options are available for the HGH levels to be increased?
You can increase your HGH levels in three ways — injections, sprays, and herbal supplements — and each has its own set of pros and cons.
How effective are the different replacement products?
METHOD # 1: HGH Injections
The evidence shows that injections of HGH are effective; however, this method does have a number of drawbacks.
Shots of HGH usually are administered twice or three times daily. Each injection is priced at around $25, so it costs about $50 – $75 every day to use injectable HGH. And worse yet is the fact that recombinant, or injectable, HGH is a drug that cannot be obtained without a prescription. The medical condition for which one gets HGH injections is not eligible under your health policy coverage. Patients then are personally responsible for the entire expense.
And repeating what I said above, injections use synthetic (scientifically formulated) HGH. It is a form not found in nature. The risk of side effects is heightened every time a foreign hormone is introduced into the body.
In fact, in an academic article that appeared on the New England Journal of Medicine on July 5, 1990, it was found that some patients that received injections suffered from many negative side effects.
Pros: Injectable HGH can work very well.
Cons: The pain, cost and side effects associated with the injections prevent this from being a viable solution.
METHOD # 2: HGH Oral Sprays
When it is in oral spray form, synthetic HGH is sprayed straight into the person’s mouth. Sprays have been proven ineffective in several studies.
The ineffectiveness of sprays is said to be due to the large size and instability of the growth hormone molecule, which is unable to pass through the membranes inside the mouth. Additionally, it’s next to impossible to administer the dosage using a spray, although this isn’t as much of a concern, since the dosage that a spray provides is well under therapeutic levels.
Cons: Sprays may contain dangerous fillers and binders; these additives should be avoided at all costs. Also HGH spray has a harsh flavor and leaves a bad aftertaste.
METHOD # 3: HGH Supplements (Herbal Supplements)
HGH Supplements, however, are a contested solution. Still, there is research that finds certain HGH supplements and expensive HGH injections to be equally effective.
HGH supplements are a select variety of herbs in pill form. Pills are taken just before bedtime, because HGH production in the pituitary gland is most active during sleep.
Synthetic HGH, which is an ingredient of injections and sprays, is not contained by herbal HGH Supplements. Herbal HGH supplements contain only natural, herbal ingredients. It is thought that by using the correct combination of herbs, the pituitary gland can be stimulated into producing higher levels of the natural growth hormone found in your body.
Some researchers affirm that HGH Supplements are much safer than injections or sprays exactly for this reason. HGH supplements stimulate the body’s production of its own growth hormone without ingesting or injecting a foreign hormone into the body. The negative side effects which are part of the other HGH replacements are removed by this.
Pros: According to recent studies, herbal HGH Supplements are found to be very effective. There are no side effects associated with Herbal HGH Supplements, and they are less expensive than oral sprays or injections. Also, no prescription is needed to obtain herbal HGH supplements.
So what does these data mean for us?
The available information all points to herbal HGH Supplements as the safest, cheapest, and most effective way to replenish HGH levels.
